KRV Collaborative meets Jan. 28

Representatives from three local organizations will address the Jan. 28 meeting of the Kern River Valley Collaborative at the Lake Isabella Senior Center, Vet’s Room 2, from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.

Peter Yuzon, director of Guardian Home Care Services, and Yolanda Ochoa, caregiver will speak about the home care services their organization offers.

Richard Rowe & Jenny Hanley, co-chairs, Living Green working committee, will give an update on the Living Green Kern River Valley, scheduled for March 17-21

Jim Freeland of College Community Services is scheduled to speak about “Family Strengthening Group,” an eight-week group focused on increasing life and parenting skills, and building family strengths. The program is free and designed for those who have struggled with substance abuse and want to find positive answers and solutions.
